JOB TITLE: Corporate Training Manager SUMMARY: Develop a performance based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives. This includes defining the technical training strategy for each of the company's five sites. This person will work with division leadership to identify and address employee and organizational training needs. The position is responsible for ensuring effective technical training is in place to enable the achievement of desired business results. This includes conducting needs assessments and designing and developing training programs. This position will lead and manage a matrixed group of trainers at each location, through which they will ensure that employees are adequately trained and are able to comply with all company safety standards and all company and customer quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, as well as other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, OD, Engineering, Business or a related field from a four-year college or university, and five to seven years related experience and/or training, preferred. Manufacturing experienced preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
