About This Position
This position's primary focus will be to handle all fleet supplier invoices with high attention to detail which will require strong Excel skills. A focus on maintaining a regional fleet scorecard is needed which will help to run our fleet efficiently and cost effectively. This position will be the main contact for several outside supplier programs to track our fleet vehicles and fuel our fleet. Ultimately, we will look to this position to analyze our data and help spot areas in need of financial improvement and service outliers. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Invoice management, investigating charges, processing, calling out opportunities, & issue resolution for all Transportation invoices (Geotab, Enterprise Fleet, Ryder Fleet, Penske Fleet, Dedicated Fleet, Fuel Programs, etc.).
- Maintain, Track, & Report regional scorecards that help drive cost out, improve service levels, and balance overall service and cost trade-offs.
- Maintains vehicle database and report accurate vehicle characteristics.
- Works with internal customers to help maintain their fleet and accurate records.
- Supervise Onboard checklist on all new vehicles.
- Maintain vehicle issue log and tracks progress of all issues to closure.
- Maintain and deploy Electronic Logging Device and GPS program.
- Ensure internal customers have all they need to run their vehicle (maintenance card, fuel card, DOT Stickers, etc.).
- Assist in verifying supplier vehicle specification compliance.
- Analyze and understand data presented, in measuring and quantifying performance.
- Provide regular reporting to executive team on strategy and KPI's.
- Identify areas in need of improvement, and address.
- Help build and maintain a best-in-class fleet that meets the needs of our internal and external customers.
- Creates Standard Operating Procedures.
- Provides and implements solutions for internal customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in either Business, Math, Management, Transportation, Logistics or equivalent degree in a relevant field of study.
- 1-2 years of fleet experience preferred.
- Ability to drive results independently with minimal oversight.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships and effectively contribute on cross-functional teams.
- Advanced analytical and project management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Creates Standard Procedures.
- Provides and implements solutions for internal customers.
