This position will be a Diamondback employee who works for the subsidiary, Viper Energy Partners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:
- Communicate effectively with landowners, attorneys, and company representatives to resolve title issues and other land-related matters.
- Manage brokers and attorneys in title curative matters.
- Confirm ownership of new wells drilled on properties.
- Work across disciplines and companies to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Conduct basic title research and verify ownership of mineral and surface rights
- Assist in maintaining and organizing land files, agreements, and lease records
- Support the preparation of evaluations, reports, lease agreements, and other land-related documents
- Work with courthouses and online databases to obtain title and property records
- Assist in the review and organization of contracts, deeds, and leases
- Assist with due diligence of acquisitions and divestitures
- Ensure accurate data entry and documentation within land management systems
- Provide administrative support to the land team as required
Required Qualifications:
- Must have strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
- High level understanding and proven track record of Land and mineral issues.
- Energy Commerce or applicable degree preferred.
Members of AAPL will be preferred. Authorization to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time is required. Must pass pre-employment background screening and drug test - Requires 1-3 years' experience
