We are seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D Regional Head to lead our Crop Protection Field Development (CPFD) Vero Beach Research Center (VBRC). The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, foster innovation, and drive operational excellence while managing a high-performing team and collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver impactful research and development outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the VBRC team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and empowerment while overseeing personnel development and operational budgets.
- Direct and ensure the delivery of high-quality CPFD trialing programs, producing conclusive results that contribute to the development and commercialization of new active ingredients and products.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with commercial colleagues to align research activities with business strategies and support sales initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence at the VBRC, including effective oversight of facilities management and external partnerships.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of CPFD strategies, ensuring the VBRC plays a crucial role in the organization's research and development goals.

Qualifications
Please note:This position is 100% onsite in Vero Beach, FL. No visa sponsorship.
- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant biological science (e.g., Weed Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology, or Nematology).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a large and diverse team (25+ FTEs) in an agricultural research setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in crop protection and/or pest management research, with a focus on field and greenhouse trials.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teams to achieve high performance and drive results.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across scientific and business communities.
