TSC's Product Engineering Solutions group is looking for an Embedded Software Developer based in our Aurora, CO location. The ideal candidate will possess an educational and/or industry focus in the design of embedded software, including Linux device drivers, user applications, and user interfaces. In this role the candidate will develop real-time embedded software in support of new radar and SIGINT/EW technology. This role will be operating out of the Aurora, CO TSC office.

Responsibilities:

  • Application development in C, C++, Python and embedded software development for real-time processors such as TI's Sitara, Xilinx's MPSoC, and NVIDIA's Jetson.
  • Implementation of real-time controls, signal processing algorithms, data normalization & management, inter/intra-process communications, and intelligent mission planning & execution
  • Support all phases of detailed system and subsystem development activities for embedded applications, including upfront analysis, prototyping, end item development and evaluation in laboratory and field test environments
  • Sustainment of software development environment across multiple ARM-based processors
  • Work within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products
  • Hands-on lab testing of electronics hardware - Experienced with test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) and software debugging tools (JTAG, ICE, GDB)
  • Analysis of measured data from laboratory and/or field testing. Comparison of expected performance or truth data to actual measured performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field and and 5 or more yearsof industry experience
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
  • Experience with the following areas:
    • Embedded C/C++ Applications
    • Yocto, Artifactory, Git, and Jenkins
    • Working and/or managing software development across multiple physical sites
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and subject matter expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a data analysis scripting language (e.g. Matlab, Python or MathCAD)
  • Experience with real-time implementation of Signal Processing algorithms, (e.g. FFT, FIR filters, Matched filters, Correlators)
  • Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or Electronic Warfare concepts
  • Familiar with RF signal chains (mixing, filtering, up/down conversion)
  • Experience providing customer support CONUS and OCONUS
  • Linux experience - environment, software development, device driver development
  • Networking - knowledge and software development across networks (UDP, TCP/IP)
  • Serial communications experience (UART, I2C, SPI)
  • Version control experience with git
  • Possess excellent organizational and communications skills
  • Able to prioritize work and maximize productivity
