Senior Cost Analyst

ANALYGENCE has an immediate opportunity for aSenior Cost Analyst supporting program efforts in Lakehurst, NJ. Position can be supported remotely from a home office within approximately 50 miles of the region with ability to be onsite if requested.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible to develop detailed cost estimates, manage budgets, and conduct financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities. Key responsibilities include performing variance analysis, preparing and presenting cost reports, and implementing cost control measures. The role involves gathering and maintaining accurate cost data, collaborating with various departments to support decision-making, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Additionally, utilizes cost analysis tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial evaluations, contributing to the organization's overall financial health and strategic planning.

• BS or BA degree in Business or related field
• Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of cost estimating, cost analysis, scheduling, budgeting, and operations research or engineering experience.
• Additionally, requires 2 years of experience in Economics Business, Accounting Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or Quantitative Analysis.
• Requires two (2) years of experience in any leadership/management role required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
