Job Description:

The Associate, Validation executes and documents validation work to ensure critical production equipment meets satisfactory performance standards.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Under the assistance of experienced validation personnel, executes equipment requalification's and performance qualifications on critical production equipment and other validation work as needed. Capable of leading some validation work.
  2. Guidance of experienced validation personnel, authors' equipment requalification reports to provide documented evidence of equipment requalification. Capable of completing some reports independently.
  3. Assists in the revision of validation SOPs to ensure correct and up to date information and processes are followed. Capable of completing some SOP revisions independently.
  4. Developing a working knowledge of the operation of various equipment and systems such as lyophilizers, terminal sterilizers, tanks, autoclaves, dry heat ovens, rinsers, CIP and SIP systems, HVAC, aseptic processing areas, etc.
  5. Initiates deviations within the EQMS system.

The Sr. Validation Associate in addition to the above, leads and assists in the execution and documentation of validation work to ensure critical production equipment meets satisfactory performance standards. The Sr. Validation Associate also mentors less experienced Validation Associates.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leads and executes equipment requalification's and performance qualifications on critical production equipment and other validation work as needed.
  2. Author's equipment requalification reports to provide documented evidence of equipment requalification's.
  3. Revises validation SOPs to ensure correct and up to date information and processes are followed.
  4. Demonstrates a working knowledge of the operation of various equipment and systems such as lyophilizers, terminal sterilizers, tanks, autoclaves, dry heat ovens, rinsers, CIP and SIP systems, HVAC, aseptic processing areas, etc.
  5. Initiates deviations within the EQMS system. Assist with RCA and impact assessments. Completes minor deviations.

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent; AS preferred
  • Associate: 3 years related experience (1 year with an AS, no experience with a BS)
  • Sr. Associate: 5 years validation experience (3 years with an AS, 1 year with a BS)
  • Pharmaceutical, FDA regulated industry, and validation strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Office.

Shift: Day

Compensation:

  • The salary range for the Associate position is $71,786.06 - $84,441.55 depending on experience.
  • The salary range for the Sr. Associate position is $79,671.57 - $93,723.6 depending on experience.
    • Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role.
