Alternate Project Manager (APM)
Location: Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Artesia, New Mexico

Summary:
The Alternate Project Manager (APM) supports the management and supervision of all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and services necessary to operate the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico. The APM assists with key responsibilities such as occupational safety and health management, environmental services, supply/equipment management, educational aides, role player support, and classroom setups. The APM is also expected to step in for the PM during absences, ensuring the continuity of operations and successful execution of the contract.
Responsibilities:
Assist the PM in overseeing contract performance, ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Step in for the PM during absences, maintaining continuity of operations.
Support scheduling, inventory, role players, and other operational tasks.
Communicate effectively with both Government and contractor personnel.
Ensure that services are delivered effectively and efficiently, meeting all quality standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Alternate Project Manager on a Federal contract exceeding $4 million per year.
Demonstrated experience with responsibilities and knowledge typical of work under this contract.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Physically capable of performing assigned work and free from infectious diseases.
Availability for on-call duty 24/7 to address urgent operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with operations and services at federal training centers or similar environments.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively support a diverse team.
