The Finance & Accounting Intern is a member of the Finance & Accounting team. This position will be heavily involved with month-end reporting as well as additional routine and ad-hoc responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Coordinating completion of month-end activities
  • Printing and distributing Financial presentations
  • Assembling and reviewing monthly business review presentation
  • Assembling and reviewing Sales & Marketing comments for Board presentation
  • Reviewing Net Sales & EBITDA bridges
  • Printing and distributing Board books
  • Gathering invoices and approvals to support Corporate capitalizations
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Aspiring junior in an undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in the field of Accounting & Finances from an accredited college/university
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
  • 20 - 29 hours per week
  • $15 per hour plus free parking
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
  • Prepare an end of term Reflection Presentation of your work experience
