Visualization and Learning Space Coordinator - Lauinger Library Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation's capital. Requirements The Visualization and Learning Space Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and facilitating the use of technology-rich spaces within Lauinger Library, including the state-of-the-art visualization wall located within the Visualization and Learning Lab in the Pierce Reading Room. This role combines technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving to support teaching, research, and public engagement activities for the Library's high-tech spaces. The Visualization and Learning Space Coordinator has additional duties that include, but are not limited to:
Work Interactions This position within the Digital Scholarship and Technology Services Department reports to the IT Support Manager, and alongside the IT Support Specialist, works under the Manager's supervision to support technology-rich computing and media labs throughout the Library. This position works closely with all members of the Digital Scholarship Services Unit to support the effective use of technology for data analysis and visualization and digital media production, and other emerging learning and research modalities in specialized Library spaces. This position collaborates with staff in other Library public services and instructional units including Outreach and Engagement, Research Services, Access Services, and the Booth Family Center for Special Collections to support the use of Library technology spaces. The Visualization and Learning Space Coordinator works with all members of the Georgetown community to facilitate scholarly and creative use of the Library's visualization wall and other high-tech spaces. Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $44,022.00 - $73,406.80 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
