Overview
Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia has an immediate opportunity for a self-motivated full time, hybrid on-site Medical Dosimetrist to join a dynamic Radiation Oncology practice. The position is for our Snellville, Ga location. The successful candidate will join a tightly knit group of five physicists and five dosimetrists dedicated to the highest quality of patient treatment and will be involved in all aspects of treatment planning including 3D conformal, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS using state of the art equipment. You'll be working closely with an excellent team of physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, therapists, administrators and support staff, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Responsibilities The practice, part of The US Oncology Network, is comprised of four radiation oncology centers located in the Atlanta metro area. All facilities use ARIA and Eclipse AAA(v16) for treatment planning. The Snellville location has a Varian True Beam with Vision RT for SGRT. We utilize Mobius 3D/FX for MU second check and patient QA, MIM and Radformation ClearCheck, AI AutoContour, and EZ Fluence. Atlanta is one of the nation's fastest growing metro areas. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Certification as a qualified medical dosimetrist (CMD) by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB). Two (2) years of clinical dosimetry experience in a progressive radiation oncology department.
