Culmen International is hiring a Project Analyst to provide support for the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and will be onsite in Bethesda, MD.

The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) improves the lives of service members with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other invisible wounds of war through excellence in TBI clinical care, research, and education. As the headquarters of the 13-site Defense Intrepid Network for TBI and Brain Health (DIN), the NICoE fosters collaboration among the many providers, researchers, and other staff working to heal the invisible wounds of war.

NICoE is part of DoD's initiative to foster an enabling environment that ensures our warfighters and public servants have a clear point of entry to the care system. NICoE provides a clear path through diagnosis, treatment, and reintegration. As a Center of Excellence NICoE provides patients with reassurance that they have consistent access to high quality TBI treatment, research, and education.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

Responsible to provide a range of administrative and operational support to PMO team and NICoE executive leadership. Responsible for development and implementation of project management standards and processes, in line with WRNMC and DHA guidelines. Responsible for planning and implementing various project priorities across NICoE and DHA.

    Contribute to project planning and implementation, and overall PMO strategy
  • Support the development and management of project work plans
  • Attend coordination meetings to provide input on project status, performance tracking, and policy or technical issues
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and reports
  • Establish key performance indicators
  • Conduct and present feasibility analyses for proposed projects
  • Provide operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.
  • Provide status reports to management and stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among different departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Manage and oversee improvement projects
  • Other Administrative tasks as necessary in support of PMO and NICoE Executive Office


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 3+ years work experience, with evidence of project experience
  • Experience in project management or administrative support, preferably in a healthcare or military environment.


Desired Qualifications

  • Certifications in project management preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and oral communication and collaboration skills.
  • Healthcare, Military, or Federal Government experience preferred

The determination of compensation at Culmen International, LLC is based on various factors such as location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, clearance level, experience, internal equity, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Culmen's total compensation package for employees.
