We have an exciting opportunity for aFire Alarm Designer - Fully Remote located in Fond du Lac, WI . While this position is posted in Fond du Lac, we are open to reviewing candidates at any of our offices throughout the Midwest - Des Moines, Davenport, Omaha, Minneapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison. How you will contribute: This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your organization and communication skills while overseeing project design progression from inception to completion including design, permits, as-builtsand operations and maintenance manuals. This position will develop a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets and participate in team and on-site progress meetings. Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications while ensuring AHJ requirements and procedures are followed. The ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines will be crucial in this role. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. What you need to qualify: Ahern will make the most of your 5-7 years of experience in the designof fire alarms, special hazard suppression, and pre-engineered systems. Previous experience working in AutoCAD is required. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating your knowledge of low voltage wiring and conventional and/or addressable fire alarm panels, along with experience and knowledge of special hazard fire suppression systems. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge, and being able pre-plan and execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
