What you will do: You will be responsible for supporting the global product and solutions management master item / SKU data (or item file) in Oracle ERP for North America and the migration of ERP systems in Europe, Asia and the Middle East over to the Oracle platform. This will include new product entry and existing product maintenance and lifecycle management updates from product launch through product end of life to a discontinued status.Data entry, maintenance and analysis will include new product (SKU) data setup, product description, pricing information, where product may or may not be available for sale, any key compliance annotation requirements and supporting information for supply chain procurement and shipping needs. How you will do it:
- Analyze and identify market / regional trends that impact product line. Plus looking for any anomalies in the product / pricing data set that should be raised to a product manager owner for investigation.
- This position is responsible for the new product set up, maintenance, item defile accuracy and documentation of new and existing products
- Work with product solutions teams to understand the products, the product attributes, features and availability across markets to ensure accurate and proper system product data entry into the ERP system.
- Monthly Reporting for Product data issues, concerns, data inaccuracies and or supporting system issues in data accuracy, analysis and consistency across global segments.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Quality, S&OP, Supply Chain and Sales to help identify improvement opportunities a
- Gather and analyze data for regular and ad hoc sales reporting and analysis.
What we look for: Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, marketing, engineering, related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Master data management , database entry, ERP implementation / support (Oracle experience preferred), technical product / data support, data science / analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to interact professionally with peer teams suppliers, customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Strong data and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and be results driven and data focused.
- Basic understanding of product attribute information, ERP systems process, key financial indicators (i.e. Cost, Margin, ROI, IRR). Ability to follow established guidelines and processes; and capability to identify and share when a process may need to be updated ).
- Basic understanding of the various types of business models (subscription, product or service delivery, distribution, warranty, service contract)
- Technically savvy and motivated to grow knowledge of products, channels, and how product data influences the entire business.
- Must have experience working in an office environment and also remote self management and be able to complete daily data reviews and updates, while also able to handle day-to-day operational requests
