Are you ready to work as a Material Handler on 2nd shift!!

Hourly Pay Range: $24.45 per hour.

Training requirement:1st shift for 4+ weeks and, then move to 2nd

shift.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate fork truck in a safe and efficient manner; provide daily care and preventative maintenance for assigned truck
  • Ensure schedules are read so proper production materials are staged to the production line
  • Ensure correct materials have been staged to the line by checking the order number on the JIT sheets, move tickets, or labels against the order number on the schedule
  • Communicate effectively with team members and Team Leader to achieve high efficiency and high quality
  • Keep production line free of excess materials and scrap to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Inspect the work of the packing coordinator and communicate to them whether the quality is acceptable (i.e. quantity, labels, shrink wrap, etc.)
  • Complete all applicable paperwork (finished goods tickets, preventative maintenance sheets, etc.)
  • Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
  • Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required

  • Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience.
