Responsibilities

Are you passionate about education and ready to make a difference? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Academic Teacher to lead our academic program with flair! You'll work closely with parents and fellow educators to craft individualized academic plans that help our students shine. Get ready to juggle multiple students, subjects, and paces like a pro!

Key Responsibilities:

Crafting Academic Magic: Collaborate with families and school districts to create personalized academic plans that are as unique as each student.

Coursework Coordination: Team up with schools to ensure coursework is delivered on time-no late assignments on your watch!

One-on-One Wizardry: Provide engaging individual instruction and academic support through virtual classes and our awesome curriculum.

Supervise the Super Tutors: Lead our math and science tutor with guidance, feedback, and a dash of inspiration.

Progress Monitoring: Keep an eye on student progress, send out weekly updates to parents, and chart their journey in our electronic documentation system.

Goal Setting Guru: Help students set and achieve their weekly goals while juggling daily and weekly assignments like a pro.

IEP/504 Support: Be the supportive ally in IEP/504 meetings, ensuring every student gets the accommodations they need to succeed.

Team Player: Attend internal meetings and training sessions, because teamwork makes the dream work!

Communication Champion: Share behavioral, academic, and attendance concerns with our clinical and direct care teams to create effective interventions.

Engagement Enthusiast: Participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings, parent meetings, and clinical calls, bringing your best ideas to the table.

Other Fun Duties: Embrace the unexpected and take on other exciting tasks as they come your way!


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience with student instruction required (middle/high school preferred).
