This role is responsible for leading and overseeing Point-of-Care ultrasound solutions across the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico in alignment with Mindray's business objectives. The scope includes managing product lines and solutions that support key markets, including Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Critical Care, Interventional Radiology, and related specialties. Additionally, this role serves as the marketing lead, developing and executing strategic marketing and product plans to drive market share growth, orders, revenue, and profitability.
Essential Functions:
- Understand, document, and champion the needs - clinical, technical, and financial - of North American ultrasound systems across key departmental settings focusing on Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Critical Care, Interventional Radiology and other associated areas.
- Maintain analysis of the market with a focus on market trends, size, competitive solutions and positioning, market shares, and customer needs.
- Prepare business, marketing, and go-to-market plans. Provide cross-functional leadership in the execution of those plans.
- Drive product launches with training and communications. Ensure that new products (and software releases) are introduced professionally with appropriate positioning, pricing, sales materials, promotions, and accompanying services.
- Serve as the North American business development lead. Identify, define, and prioritize market opportunities for the POC market segments. Develop strategies for increased market penetration and work with sales channels to implement.
- Cultivate and develop relationships with KOLs and customers.
- Continually assess the supported product line performance against plan. Implement programs, tools, and initiatives as required to exceed business goals.
- Recommend and contribute to communication strategies, including sales collateral, tradeshows, advertising, PR, and lead generation, for new and existing products. Serve as the lead for identified national tradeshows.
- Provide proactive support of the sales and clinical teams with timely communications, product and competitive information, product training, appropriate demo inventory, etc. Actively support the sales teams with current strategic opportunities.
- Work closely with global counterparts to prioritize requirements and needs of the North American market while recognizing scope, schedule, and resource constraints.
- Partner with sales management to develop and enhance sales channels.

Position Specifications:
- Knowledge/Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in related clinical, technical, or business area
- MBA or equivalent experience desirable
- Minimum 5 years of experience in upstream or downstream marketing
- Minimum 5 years medical device experience, preferably in corporate and/or hospital environment
- Ultrasound experience and knowledge is strongly desirable
- Skills and Abilities

- Travel requirements, including international travel, can reach 35% of time
