Description

The System Configuration Architect serves as the subject matter expert on assigned solutions. This position will be responsible for bridging technology and business and owning the application lifecycle from concept through launch, and integrations upstream and downstream. The individual will collaborate and develop detailed application roadmap plans, feature details, and technical dependencies with the business. Using this system expertise, this position will influence the creation and modification of operational processes, own end-to-end performance issues, identify bottlenecks and optimize application and service performance to improve end-user experience.



  • Acts as an expert at understanding end-to-end systems and integrating third party solutions
  • Provides technical assistance to the user community with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of software/hardware; serves as Tier2 incident response/problem solving
  • Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of systems
  • Performs work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements
  • Monitors the architecture of the vendor's offerings to ensure continued compatibility of the bank's technology portfolio
  • Analyzes and validates the accuracy of information and the feasibility of solutions
  • Develops and maintains application and end-to-end solution documentation
  • Leads application training for internal IT support staff


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience in an IT application support environment
  • Preferred - Knowledge of financial services and technology industry products and practices; experience using Share-Point, Exchange, Yammer, and workflow and collaboration tools


Skills:



  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator sills; must be able to perform advanced math and carry out complex instructions
  • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
