Job Type TemporaryDepartment Medical ExaminerAbout the Position The Forensic Technician Intern learns to perform specialized work in assisting Forensic Technicians with the postmortem examination of decedents, collection of samples, and maintaining records. The Office of the Medical Examiner is a county agency charged under Arizona law to perform medical investigations of certain types of deaths. The goal of these investigations is to determine the medical cause (disease and/or injury) of the death to help improve public health and safety. We Require This position requires that you are currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor's degree program, or that you are a recent graduate from an accredited college or university in a Forensic Science, Biological Science, Mortuary Science, or related criminology or forensic field. Other Requirement Successful candidates will be required to complete a post-job offer medical evaluation in order to use N95 respirators. We Also Value
