As the Principal Assembler developer at BMC, you will be working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Your work will include collaboration across different BMC products lines. You will be managing a varied workload of multiple ongoing tasks including new function development and product maintenance. You will be communicating with various teams to help resolve customer issues. As part of the development team, it would be your responsibility to develop and debugging of software products. This will be working as part of BMC's Storage team, specifically focusing on our FDR product line. FDR is the High-Performance Storage Management solutions from BMC. Job Responsibilities: As the Principal Product Developer at BMC, your responsibilities will include Leading the technical team, high level and low-level architecting and developing a new product from scratch in the world of Storage management. You will tackle complex problems that require in-depth knowledge of z/OS internals. You will collaborate across different BMC product lines, including new function development and product maintenance, and communicate with various teams to resolve customer issues. This role works on a broad array of critical, unique issues and complex programs/solutions. The role requires a good knowledge of product domain, the software development life cycle and the process involved in product development. What you will be doing:

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits. At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range.
