The Contract Analyst at Tennant Company works with the North America Business Unit to manage customer contracts and programs that support Tennant's business strategies and objectives. An experienced analyst is responsible for identifying and resolving data issues as well as providing regular reporting updates to customers and partners.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with internal partners for contractual review and gather information required for customer contracts and reporting.
- Working knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual payment of customer rebate programs. Validation from manager as needed.
- Provide volume and payment reporting working closely with customers, sales and finance organizations.
- Ensure data integrity within systems, identify root cause for inaccuracy of data and determine corrective action.
- Manage customer contracts and agreements ensuring proper controls and accounting.
- Resolve issues in a efficient and timely manner.
- Provide training and support both with external customer and internal business partners when needed.
- Complete additional customer forms and setup of customer structures independently.
- Assist in the recommendation and establishment of new processes to support company objectives and goals.
- Identify process improvements and discuss with manager.
- Lead work activities and produce high quality deliverables with a significant autonomy.
- Understand and apply the complex organizational hierarchies and relationships that are needed for contract execution.
- Assist other colleagues within the contract management as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- University/Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3+ years relevant experience in contracts, pricing, or finance/business analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- General knowledge of contract management and payment processing
- SAP experience preferred
- General knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and policies

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $66,200 - 99,200 Annualized
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
