Responsible for providing an advanced clinical level of quality patient care while producing radiologic images used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities also include completing x-rays effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience. Essential Functions -Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patients condition to obtain quality images for radiologists; this level may provide an advanced clinical level of patient care -Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures which may include transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and position patients -Explains procedures to patients taking into consideration physical and emotional needs -Records digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation -Maintains pertinent records -Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards -May provide assistance to Radiology Technologist Students and new staff in performing Radiologic exams, sterile technique, and proper stocking of supplies in radiographic rooms We are currently hiring a full-time, 40-hour Radiology Technologist to work at our Pembroke site. Flexible scheduling available shifts between 7:00 am and 7:30 pm Monday through Friday! One weekend per month, Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00pm and Sunday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Our Radiology Technologists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our MGBMG patients. New grads welcome!! Qualifications * Associate's degree required. For those candidates who meet requirements of licensing and registration agencies and have been grandfathered by those agencies, Associate's degree requirement may be waived, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required * Current licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and registry eligibility required; ARRT registration must be completed within six (6) months of hire.
