Pay: $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two to three years of experience in heat treatment. A working knowledge of metallurgy and temperatures is essential, and you may be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends. Maintaining a forklift operation certification will also be necessary as part of your job. We have tons of perks!
Job Duties: As a Heat Treater, your daily responsibilities will include operating, controlling, and monitoring heat treating equipment by established standard procedures outlined in shop travelers and customer paperwork. You will prepare work for processing by efficiently loading and unloading furnaces, bins, fixtures, and baskets. Any unusual problems or irregularities will need to be promptly reported to your supervisor. You will also practice and promote safety and good housekeeping throughout your work area.
