Location: Los Angeles, CA (Pasadena and Pacific Palisades neighborhoods)
ECC is seeking a Site Supervisor with asbestos abatement experience to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA, for the LA fires debris removal project. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in asbestos abatement, hazardous materials management, fire debris removal, disaster recovery, heavy civil, environmental, or construction projects.
Thisfull-time field supervisor rolerequiresextended hours, including weekends, as needed by the project. Additional compensation for hours worked is provided. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The project startsimmediatelyand is expected to lastapproximately 6-9 months.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee allasbestos abatement and fire debris removal activitiesin assigned work areas.
  • Ensure strictcompliance with asbestos handling regulations, contract requirements, and project specifications.
  • Supervise site personnel, including subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient work execution.
  • Coordinate and schedule debris removal operations, focusing onhazardous materials management.
  • Maintain detailed field records and submitasbestos-specific reportsas required.
  • Enforce allOSHA, EPA, and state regulationsrelated to asbestos abatement and hazardous materials.
  • Work closely with theHealth & Safety Officer, Quality Control Officer, Site Superintendent, and CQC Site Managersto ensure compliance.
  • Identify task-specific equipment and materials required for asbestos abatement and site cleanup.
  • Assist and lead field teams in achieving task requirements.
  • Provide leadership in the field to ensureworker safety, regulatory compliance, and project efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience inasbestos abatement, hazardous materials removal, and environmental remediation.
  • Knowledge offederal, state, and local asbestos regulations.
  • Ability to work inchallenging field conditionsand manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prior experience supervising crews indebris removal or environmental remediation projects.
  • Current 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification, or be able to obtain one
  • Education: High School diploma or GED. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.

ECC targeted salary range for US locations average is $79,996.80 to $90,396 annually(based on 40 hours per week) Additional compensation for hours worked up to 12 hours a day 6 or 7 days a week. (potential to earn $2,769 to $3,230 per week or more)
Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
