TYPICAL WORK SHIFT/SCHEDULE: up to 40 Hours Weekly, Days. March through November!

JOB SUMMARY:
Temporary Seasonal Employment
Performs various routine duties involving the construction, repairing, cleaning, and maintenance of the City of Concord's Municipal Golf Course- Beaver Meadow. May operate equipment and trucks as assigned and licensed. Works under the supervision of the golf course manager or his/her designee. Laborer may work unattended as needed or instructed by supervisor. May act as a lead worker in charge of other seasonal employees as directed.

Examples of Duties
-
Performs golf maintenance work such as mowing, trimming, weeding, irrigating, raking, fertilizing, shoveling, pruning trees, planting trees, planting shrubs and flowers, mulching flower beds, aerating tees, greens and fairways. Changes pin placements, rakes and repairs bunkers, fills divots, fuels equipment, repairs cart paths, changes and cleans and repairs course accessories such as ball washers and benches. Assists mechanic as directed with repairs to equipment. Assists with the repair and maintenance of the automatic irrigation system, maintenance equipment, and buildings. Retrieves, collects, washes and stores driving range golf balls.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Typical Qualifications

LICENSE: A valid NH Operators motor vehicle license may be required. Passing of a driver history and criminal background check is required for this job.

MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED: Custodial tools and equipment, hand and shop power tools, mowers, aerators, trimmers, bunker rakes, hand tools, shovels, golf specialty equipment, cup changers, back pack blowers, irrigation hoses, snow and ice removal equipment, AED, telephone.

Up to 40 hours per week.
