** Salary ranges are based on minimum education and years of experience and may increase based on education and/or experience.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.



Responsibilities

    Conduct technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance with IA standards.
  • Validate and verify system security requirements and establish security designs.
  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate IA and security systems for networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Assist architects and developers in implementing information security functionality.
  • Support the building of security architectures and enforce trusted relationships among external systems.
  • Assess and mitigate system security threats throughout the program life cycle.
  • Contribute to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management activities.
  • Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation for completeness and compliance.
  • Apply expertise in system security engineering across various domains, including cryptography, risk management, and security testing.


Qualifications

Mid Level Information System Security Engineer:

  • Fourteen (14) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2 and CISSP Certification is required.

Senior Information System Security Engineer:

  • Twenty (20) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to eighteen (18) years of experience.
    • Four (4) years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3 is required.
  • Both Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) and CISSP Certifications are required.
