The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Sr. Project Management Analyst - Application Training.

Working in a team-based environment, the Sr. Project Analyst - Application Training will coordinate the activities in all phases of training, including involvement in user acceptance testing. Will be tasked with assessing training needs, reviewing training materials, coordinating training sessions, managing participant registration/completion, and measuring the effectiveness of the training program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ERP training, adult learning principles, and system implementation training strategies.

Key Responsibilities include:

System Implementation/Support:

  • Has strong time management and organizational skills and is able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Develops training use cases (informed by User Acceptance Test processes) including feature interaction, stress & performance.
  • Creates training plans that are applicable to each release by working closely with the application teams to ensure quality and usability of ERP.
  • Reports defects found to provide as much support or information as necessary to application teams.
  • Suggests and actively participate in processes improvements to training materials, on-line learning, and approach to in-person training.
  • Analyzes training results and users' feedback and communicates with application teams to assist in the resolution of any key skill gaps.
  • Defines new or improved training processes and has experience identifying the needs for "Soft Skills" training (e.g. Critical Thinking, Vendor Management, Negotiation Skill Building, Emotional Intelligence, etc.).
  • Trains and mentors new team members.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Approves developed training Methodologies.
  • Reviews and provides input into training materials for all ERP applications and prepares the appropriate training result documentation.
  • Ensures adherence to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.
  • Ensures strict adherence to training plans, reporting all serious deviations to management.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations for training scheduling and staffing needs.

System Maintenance/Support:

  • Ensures adherence to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.
  • Establishes and maintains regular communications with user community and collaborates with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and relevance of training approach and materials.
  • Provides training and support for all application teams during the development and execution of UAT.

Management & Supervision:

  • Manages and tracks issues, facilitates issue resolution and escalates unresolved high risks.
  • Provides supervisory guidance and leadership to all levels of staff as required.
  • Establishes and monitors standards of performance for staff.
  • Ensures that all work conforms to established UHS policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that new staff members receive a comprehensive orientation to the department and hospital requirements and environments.
  • Provides feedback to management for employee job performance according to established standards.
  • Focuses on staff technical and professional development.
  • Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, and problems as they arise.
  • Keeps staff up-to-date and informed on new and revised IS Department policies and procedures.

Administrative Duties:

  • Provides documentation of all training outcomes and makes recommendations for training coordination improvements to management.
  • Ensure that training participants are properly trained in the performance of their duties as required.
  • Provides training development support and guidance to other team members as required.
  • Maintains relationships with key IS vendors and consulting firms.
  • Provides updates of project status for publication on a Quarterly basis and will provide weekly updates once training delivery has begun prior to each ERP Go-Live or Upgrade.
  • Interacts with consultants and third parties as needed.
  • Maintains Service Excellence principles.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in training, particularly in ERP, system implementations, or other enterprise software training programs.
  • Proven experience in creating and delivering training programs for large-scale systems, preferably Workday or similar ERP Cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to design and implement successful training strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable and confident interacting with hospital and corporate personnel at all levels.
  • Working knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of user business practices, concepts and terminology to support the applications.
  • Create, maintain and execute or oversee execution of all phases of training across all application groups.
  • Maintain comprehensive training records, tracking attendance, completion rates, and feedback from participants
  • Strong customer focus and ability to set and manage client expectations.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint applications, Training LMS systems, and Training Development applications required.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.

Training: Related Workday training / certifications.

Travel Requirements: 50% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
