The Cougar Athletics Game Day Events Staff are hourly employees who may work in a variety of roles and situations alongside our office and operations staff to implement an enjoyable experience for fans and guests at
CSU Home Games. Must be available weeknights, weekends, and holidays (as needed) |
Job Description |
Roles include but are not limited to venue operations, fan experience, team/sponsor marketing, media production, hospitality, fan engagement, ushering and/or ticket sales.
Game day report time is approximately 2 hours prior to doors opening and will be dismissed shortly after the game ends when all responsibilities are finished alongside the post-game meeting.
Assist with the timely coordination of activities/setup with event staff, collaborating units, other building departments, vendors, production staff, and event-related contractors
Assist with pre-game, in-game, and post-game operations, including concourse setup and breakdown before & after games
Scoreboard Operator- Operate the required equipment to control the scoreboard
Prepare scorer's table area for use before the start of assigned games Setup and breakdown of facility
Scorekeeper- Keep written record of games in the scorebook and/or insure that scoreboard is accurate during games.
Statistician - Maintains scores and records for each competition & Compiles statistics for each game. Records and/or posts individual and team statistics in accordance with official rules and requirements.
Libero Tracker - Tracks the libero position during a volleyball match
Line Judge - Assist the game officials during a volleyball match
Complete various other duties as assigned |
Minimum Qualifications |
High School Diploma
Customer Service Experience Required |

The ideal candidate possesses a high level of integrity, passion, energy, a positive attitude, the ability to adapt to different situations, a strong work ethic, and a mindset for teamwork. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and the desire to help others. Experience with event management or college athletics preferred. |
