Position Details:
- Shift: 1stShift: Monday - Thursday; 5:00am - 3:00pm
- Pay Range: Up to $25.00/hour (basedupon experience, skill set, and shift)
Key Responsibilities:
- Make proper adjustments to colors on paint guns to meet customer specifications.
- Use correct paint gun techniques for consistency, density, and quality.
- Apply coatings to protect or decorate workpiece surfaces using spray gun.
- Detect color differences, including shades or brightness variations.
- Ensure products entering the booth are coatable and that masking has been completed.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues at the paint line.
- Inspect finished surfaces for conformance to specifications.
- Maintain production rates and uphold quality standards.
- Check and identify worn parts on spray guns to ensure proper function.
- Perform regular maintenance on paint guns, including cleaning and adjustments.
- Set up paint guns accurately and properly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with good housekeeping practices.
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
- 6 months of experience in industrial paint with a solid work history in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of painting techniques and color matching.
- Experience with Electrostatic paint equipment.
- Ability to prevent cross-contamination during painting.
- Knowledge of paint gun set-up.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, work orders, or customer specifications.
- Basic knowledge of handling hazardous waste materials related to paint.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects or tools.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and move from place to place.
