Job Overview
This position receives, reviews, and processes work tasks from facility managers. Classifies work task by priority as well as assign to correct shop. Receive calls and dispatch technician as needed. Update facility managers on the work task as needed. Investigate and analyze work task create reports. Work Model: Onsite
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Receive, record, and distribute work orders to service crews upon customer's requests for service.
- Records information such as name, address, and article to be repaired or serviced.
- Schedule service call and dispatches service crew.
- Calls or writes customers to insure satisfactory performance of service.
- Provides customer service status on requirements and inquiries.
- Dispatches craftsmen on emergency and urgent requirements.
- Keep records of service calls and work orders via NexGen and CEMS.
- Update labor using NexGen and CEMS for actual accounting cost centers.
- Participate in real world situations and exercises by following necessary checklists and notification procedures.
- Update's facility files and makes necessary changes.
- As assigned, updates and files the warranty/guarantee requirements, update the building manager listings, and provide training for customers.
- Update's status of direct scheduled work, updates draft work orders to planned jobs if required, updates status on planned jobs if required.
- Tracks and updates PM's as needed.
- Generates and manages Work Clearance Request (AF Form 103).
- Ask customers to fill out customer surveys or e-mail them to customers.
- Update spreadsheets with work order information.
- Listings for LUC's report from NexGen.
- File's documentation in facility jackets.
- Updates NexGen for Facility Managers and Warranty Information
- Print out training certificates for those who receive initial and recurring Facility Manager training
- Substitutes for EMCS when required.
- Work with Team Leads/Managers by printing out work status report and assigning craftsmen to jobs
- Required to stay knowledgeable with the latest software programs such as NexGen, CEMS, etc. as well as any electronic devices to include computers, tablets, scanners, etc.
- Implement safety program for section.
- Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Class C Texas driver's license.
- Two-year data entry experience.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NACI).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings.
- General knowledge of all maintenance and construction trades.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
