Job Summary
Provide certification services for Veterans and associated agencies. Provide cross-registration services for incoming and outgoing students. Assist with other registration and records related functions including support for commencement, diplomas, customer service, assessment, and registration. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Faculty, students, staff, State and Federal agencies. This position typically will advise and counsel: Faculty, students, and staff. Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Provide veterans certification services, interface with the Veterans Administration for reporting and auditing.
Job Duty 2 - Provide cross-registration services for incoming and outgoing students; process requests, communicate with students, and coordinate with other Coordinators.
Job Duty 3 - Assist with registration and records services for both the Registration and Customer Services Team and the Academic Policy Support and Transfer Credit Team.
Job Duty 4 - Provide reports and input on processes as needed.
Job Duty 5 - Coordinate with Georgia Tech Professional Education (GTPE) staff to provide support for VA programs.
Job Duty 6 - Create and maintain office documentation and training materials for VA certification and cross-registration.
Job Duty 7 - Supervise assigned staff members, perform performance reviews, set performance goals, and implement competency models.
Job Duty 8 - Provide support for commencement, commencement activities, diplomas, etc. Job Duty 9 - Assist as needed with processing and review of student curricula changes including changes of major, level changes, additions or removals of minors and concentrations, and catalog year changes, while ensuring a high level of accuracy.

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Associate's Degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience Three to four years of job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, or Information Systems

SKILLS This job requires familiarity with office related applications and student information systems; excellent written and verbal communication; highly effective problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to organize information effectively for different audiences; ability to work effectively with a broad range of constituents and adjust personal approach as needed for successful interactions; ability to build effective business partnerships across different lines and levels.
