Job Title: BSA Analyst I
Department: BSA
Location: Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid (1 day in-office, 4 days remote)

We are looking for a bilingual BSA Analyst I fluent in English and Spanish to join our team. The BSA Analyst I is responsible for conducting all aspects of monitoring activities relating to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and OFAC compliance as described in the FFIEC Bank Secrecy Act Anti-Money Laundering Examination Manual and ensure all activities and processes are in compliance with bank policies and procedure, as well as, audit and other regulatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and implement internal examinations, investigations, and inspections.
  • Inspect records and documents of accounts to ensure they are in compliance with current bank policies and procedures.
  • Review Currency Transaction Reports for accuracy and submission.
  • Handle account review and SAR case assignments.
  • Prepare case write up report and recommend whether to file a SAR or not with supervision.
  • Ensure timely implementation of new procedures in compliance with any changes in laws and regulations in the OFAC, BSA/AML/CIP and enhanced due diligence programs.
  • Familiarize and comply with all applicable Bank's policies and procedures, as well as governing laws and regulations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of bank documents, fraud investigation, and bank operation preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is preferred.
