Description:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated 5th-8th Grade Teacher (Monolingual English and/or Bilingual English/Spanish) to join our school community. This role is responsible for designing engaging lessons, implementing effective instructional practices, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the growth and success of every student.

Your Role:
As a teacher, you will create and deliver high-quality instruction that aligns with Common Core Standards, build positive relationships with students and families, and work collaboratively with colleagues to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment.

What You'll Do:

• Design and deliver lessons aligned with Common Core Standards and school curriculum
• Administer and analyze assessments to inform instruction and differentiate for diverse learners
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, Special Education staff, ESL teachers, and administrators to support student achievement
• Integrate best practices for teaching ESL students (for bilingual positions, deliver instruction and assessments in both English and Spanish)
• Maintain strong, positive communication with parents, staff, and students
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting responsibilities
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented school culture
  

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field from an accredited college/university
• Valid Wisconsin DPI License in the applicable subject area/grade range or ability to obtain a License with Stipulation (Emergency License)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required for bilingual teaching positions
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
• A "people person" with a positive outlook, collaborative spirit, and strong communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexibility to adjust to program and school needs
• Must pass all required background checks
  

Day-to-Day Setting
Work is primarily performed in classroom and school settings, with occasional local/statewide travel as needed.
