Overview The Integrated Enterprise Improvement Team is seeking a highly motivated candidate who can operate with minimal supervision and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills to join the team and drive performance to attain the Navy desired 1 Columbia and 2 Virginia annual production rate. This role supports enterprise strategies that include Cost Reduction, Continuous Improvement, Technology Deployment and Span Reduction tasking, which is aimed at improving the manufacturability and affordability of the Columbia and Virginia Class Programs by implementing changes to the existing ship design, manufacturing processes, or businesses practices. This team regularly interfaces with Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Design and Engineering, VCS Program Office, CLB Program Office, Design Build, Groton Operations, Quonset Point Operations, Materials Management, EB upper management, and Navy customers. The candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of a significant subset of the overarching strategy for attaining construction readiness of 1 CLB and 2 VCS by 2028 (e.g. non-nuclear scope span reduction, etc.). Responsibilities of the position will vary based on priorities but will include:
Prioritizing, Managing and Integrating a portfolio of improvement efforts aligned to a strategy that will increase submarine production rate
