Compensation Grade: P20Compensation Details: Minimum: $70,795.00 - Maximum: $70,795.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OPH) Office of Public HealthJob Description: Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Health Program Coordinator to work within the Division of Public Health Infrastructure's Community Engagement and Outreach. The Senior Health Program Coordinator will support the unit by assisting in the coordination of procurement activities, serving as a liaison to contractors, and maintaining both internal and external communication strategies. These efforts will support the Office of Public Health's (OPH) strategic plan, which aims to streamline and foster bi-directional communication, increase awareness of OPH priorities, and improve accountability. The incumbent will support the development of a contracting interface through APPLY and provide technical assistance to staff for processing contracts and awardee vouchers, budgets and budget modifications as need for grant funded community awards. The incumbent will work closely with community outreach coordinators to assess stakeholder needs and contribute to identifying resources to support public health programming. The position will include using communication tools (SharePoint, Webex, Teams, Smartsheet's) as well as coordinating and promoting inclusive health campaigns, supporting leadership and fostering collaboration. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience contributing to the coordination of program activities in a public health, health, health regulatory, or human services related program; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications
Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, 25% of the time, will be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
