Summary

We are seeking a Manager, Video Editing to lead the post-production process, transforming raw footage into high-impact, visually compelling content that aligns with our brand storytelling and marketing objectives. This role is responsible for video editing, color correction, sound design, and post-production workflows, ensuring that all content meets brand standards and engages key audiences. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for storytelling, strong technical expertise in editing, and a deep understanding of pacing, composition, and visual flow. They will collaborate closely with videographers, motion designers, and content teams to bring creative concepts to life. Basic videography and photography skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content, ensuring strong narrative flow, pacing, and visual impact.
  • Perform color correction, sound design, and motion enhancements to create polished, high-quality content.
  • Optimize content for various formats, aspect ratios, and distribution channels, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.

Creative Collaboration & Storytelling

  • Work closely with videographers, motion designers, and content teams to align editing with creative vision and strategic objectives.
  • Enhance footage with graphics, transitions, and visual effects to elevate storytelling.
  • Provide input on shot selection, sequencing, and overall creative direction to strengthen the final product.

Workflow & Asset Management

  • Manage post-production workflows, file organization, and version control, ensuring efficiency and accessibility.
  • Maintain and organize video assets within content management systems (e.g., Frame.io, DAM systems).
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, editing techniques, and software advancements to continuously improve content quality.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in video editing and post-production, ideally working in-house for a brand or at an agency
  • Bachelor's degree in Film & Video Production, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve (or similar), and audio mixing tools
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition in video editing
  • Experience with color grading, audio post-production, and motion graphics integration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with the ability to travel for production assignments, including occasional nights and weekends
  • Bonus: Basic videography and photography skills

Compensation Range:$96,000.00-$143,000.00, plus bonus.
