We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join the innovative Business Technology Team, where technology meets strategy to drive business success. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting data operations for, our cutting-edge IoT filter and fluid monitoring ecosystem, which empowers customers through real-time insights and equipment optimization. You will also harness the power of enterprise data to generate actionable business insights, helping to optimize the effectiveness of our mobile solutions aftermarket sales force. This position will work out of our Bloomington, MN office on a hybrid schedule.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, maintain, and optimize data pipelines.
• Ensure real-time data processing and availability for data scientists and analytics platforms.
• Operationalize machine learning models to support business analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to create data driven insights to enhance sales force effectiveness and decision-making.
• Enforce data quality standards and best practices.
• Monitor data integrity and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Stay updated with the latest data engineering technologies and trends.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing data infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Proficient with Python and SQL
• Experience with relational, and no-sql data structures
• Experience DevOps/MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, and deploying machine learning models at scale and maintaining them throughout their lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience with real-time data processing is highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud platforms i.e., AWS or Google Cloud, Azure is preferred.
• Understanding of data visualization platforms i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, etc.
• Master's Degree in related field
• Demonstrated experience with Databricks & PySpark highly desired
• Experience with data governance and compliance regulations such as GDPR
• Working understanding of LLMs & RAG solutions
• Working knowledge of Snowflake
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Annual Salary Range : $86,200 - $111,000 annually. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
