Position Description

LCG is seeking an Associate SharePoint/PowerApps Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the development, integration, and delivery of applications using front-end, back-end, database, and hosting tools. This role involves supporting business applications aligned with organizational goals, conducting business analysis for process improvements, and designing data structures and Power BI reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint and PowerApps Development:



  • Assist in planning and developing business applications that support long-term business goals and digital strategies.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify areas for process improvement and innovation.
  • Support the design and development of business process models, data structures, and Power BI reports for data visualization and decision-making.
  • Maintain an inventory of SharePoint sites and applications, identifying opportunities for enhancement and scalability.


Back-End Development:



  • Assist in designing, developing, and managing SharePoint Online sites using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for custom solutions.
  • Support the implementation of Power Automate workflows for data migration and business process automation within M365 services.
  • Develop and maintain custom connectors to integrate external data sources with SharePoint, PowerApps, and SQL Server.
  • Build and maintain scalable back-end services using C# within Azure Functions to support workflow automation.
  • Assist in database development and optimization using SQL Server for SharePoint and PowerApps applications.
  • Secure and manage data access using Azure Active Directory (AAD), role-based access control (RBAC), and adhere to security best practices in Azure environments.
  • Support API integration using REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API to facilitate data exchange and connectivity.


Front-End & Full Stack Development:



  • Develop responsive PowerApps applications with custom forms, utilizing PowerApps Studio and Canvas Apps.
  • Support the development of custom SharePoint Online web parts using React and SPFx for enhanced user experience.
  • Assist in creating and integrating APIs into front-end solutions using ASP.NET or React for dynamic, single-page applications.
  • Apply responsive design principles and front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Integrate Power BI dashboards into SharePoint and PowerApps to enable real-time data visualization and insights.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to enhance user interfaces and ensure consistency across PowerApps and SharePoint platforms.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development, including at least 3 years working with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform tools such as Power Virtual Agents and Power Pages.
  • Experience with database management, SQL, query languages, and data modeling.
  • Understanding of NIH federal information systems privacy and security controls.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and experience working in Azure DevOps environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online development.
  • Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data management and SQL databases.


Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $45.55 - $61.91 per hour benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary for this role is $59.00/hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
