OVERVIEW

Responsible for national sales and business development of GH Armor products to the FIRE/EMS market segment through engagement with distributors and end users. FIRE/EMS, first responder, and/or law enforcement industry or related background preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop and implement business plans for distributor and end user engagement
  • Partner and frequently travel nationally with regional GH Armor Field Sales Representatives
  • Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to agency end users
  • Responsible for training of distributor personnel to facilitate the sales and servicing of GH Armor products


  • Records, monitors, and reports on sales pipeline, activities, and opportunities through CRM


  • Prepares Tasks & Goals and sales forecast report bi-weekly to General Manager
  • Partner with distributor personnel to identify, strategically pursue, and convert first responder end user opportunities
  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding both individual and team sales goals
  • Report sales performance against business plan forecast to the General Manager on a bi-weekly basis
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to drive assigned projects to their successful conclusion inclusive of Business Units, Pricing and Sales Operations, Customer Service, Technical Specialists, and Marketing
  • Provide competitive market intelligence and subject matter expertise to sales team and segment customers


  • Conducts research to identify opportunities to secure additional segment share of FIRE/EMS and life safety spend


  • Monitor and control travel expenses within established budget parameters
  • Monitor segment T&E and sales samples
  • Coordinate and attend industry trade shows while facilitating new business opportunities and building customer relationships
  • Meets productivity standards, completing work in a timely manner and performs multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Drives and enables team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Adhere to GH Armor's Code of Conduct standards


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education/training
  • First responder industry experience preferred
  • 50%+ travel required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • National travel required
  • Overnight travel required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization, negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable strategies
  • Ability to motivate teams and work effectively as a team member
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels of a large organization
  • Ability to work remotely and independently while achieving company goals and timelines
  • Knowledge of distributor networks and contract bid processes
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications and sales performance metrics
  • Intermediate skills required in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
