JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of routine to complex equipment repairs efficiently, accurately and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. Determines feasibility of repairing the equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Evaluates the feasibility of repairing, replacing, and handling of equipment to effectively meet customer service objectives. Diagnoses and tests equipment to determine the cause.


  • Repairs equipment correctly and in a timely manner following standard procedures. Determines if equipment should be covered or considered for warranty.


  • Documents repairs and actions taken in appropriate systems and packages serviced items as needed.


  • Ensures a technical service stock is maintained by informing appropriate employees when stock is low.


  • Maintains a safe and clean work area at all times.


  • Performs final assembly on products and packs/ships as required by the location.


  • Communicates with customers professionally to discuss and provide options and estimates. Provides excellent technical customer service and training to dealers, end users, outside technicians and/or internal customers including customer service, sales, quality, product development and R&D departments. Resolves complaints or dissatisfaction using sound judgment. (Varies by business unit supported).


  • Performs other duties as assigned.
