The Senior Logistics Analyst is critical to providing operational oversight, analytical and tactical support to the Ocean Spray Logistics Team.
Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays & Fridays remote.
A Day in the Life...
- Support the oversight of Ingredient 3PL provider operations, triaging transportation, warehouse, or inventory issues as they arise along with creation and ownership of their annual budgets
- Work cross functionally with Customer Service to address business requirements
- Monitor Inventory cycle counts, reconcile inventories, and provide support on product holds
- Liaise between Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) and warehouse locations to complete product trace as required.
- Learn other warehouse locations in order to provide support to team members.
- Drive continuous process improvement to the supply chain by reviewing operations, analyzing failures, identifying root causes, and driving corrective actions.
- Identify efficiency opportunities, provide analytical expertise, and support data driven decision making
- Maintain various industry benchmarking metrics to analyze the health of the supply chain and leverage information to implement best practices including new supply chain solutions, market financial and performance rates
- Work cross functionally with supply chain and commercial teams on projects and improvement initiatives
- Support the WMS EDI initiative by collaborating on system configuration, development, integration, data migration, and testing, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Other responsibilities as assigned by leader
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Logistics and/or Warehouse Management
- Advanced in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerBi
- Ability to develop and maintain budget models
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
- Self-motivated, high energy, proactive and possess problem solving skills
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to plan and organize to ensure timely completion and follow up on assigned tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; influences and persuades others internally and externally, including senior leaders
- Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Experience in EDI implementation and support preferred
Education: Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
Master's Degree (Preferred)
Work Experience: At least 3 Years of Experience
