JOB SUMMARY |
Responsible for performing visual inspections of fire extinguishers to ensure they meet specified standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
|
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES |
- Requires strong organizational skills, typing, as well as the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently.
- Able to recognize deficiencies associated with fire extinguishing systems and schedule service to bring them up to standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Inspect extinguishers to ensure they meet all safety standards within the jurisdiction of the state.
- Ensure tag is not expired and unit is in proper working order (pins have not been pulled, no physical damage exists, no repair or replacement needed).
- Schedule service of units needing repair with service technicians.
- This position is required to drive.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
