BACKGROUND: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. At work in over 40 countries and 28 US cities to restore safety, dignity, and hope, the IRC leads the way from harm to home. Domestically, our 28 offices across the US ensure new arrivals have food, shelter, and clothing and work with refugees to help them gain self-sufficiency. SCOPE OF INTERN WORK: This internship is an excellent opportunity for a current graduate/undergraduate student to gain exposure to the operations of a large international organization while practicing and applying Grant Management methods to maximize the reach of IRC programming in Atlanta GA. The is an in-person position. This position will report to the Pre-Award Grants Coordinator. The internship will be filled on a rolling basis. We will continue to accept applications until April 18, 2025, or until the position is filled, whichever occurs first. Internship will begin the week of May 12th, 2025.
