Project Engineer provides project support for the construction and management of public and private heavy/civil and asphalt paving projects.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • College degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study and 2 years estimating/project management support role exp., or related education and field experience preferably in a construction environment.
  • Must be available to work days and/or nights in the field.


Duties and/or responsibilities:



  • Project Management duties will include processing daily progress reports for field supervisors, preparing submittals, schedules and plans; assisting in the tracking of daily costs by analyzing data, providing reports and making adjustments as requested., communicating with subcontractors, processing extra work billings and tracking, GPS modeling and analyzing truck haul data.

  • Estimating duties may include assisting with the preparation of estimates/bids/proposals by determining labor, equipment and material requirements; and providing analysis of material, staging, and equipment requirements of projects under construction.


  • Adhere to company safety standards and applicable state, federal regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Timely and regular attendance is essential.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate concisely both orally and written.
  • Be customer first focused with an eye on quality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Apple IPhone and IPad.
  • Ability to work extra hours (overtime) as needed.
  • Must be able to support the company's safety program.
