Description
Mirion Technologies (IST) Corporation, a world leader in manufacturing radiation sensors for the nuclear power industry, is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality Assurance Team. Selected applicants will bring the technical knowledge and communication skills to work with our Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments in a well-established Quality Assurance Program. Implement and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for processing materials into finished items and components. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing functions to ensure the integrity of our quality standards are maintained. Devise and implement inspection methods and procedures for inspecting and evaluating the items and materials in our production system. Implement documented control systems for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Conduct quality assurance audits of the quality system to identify deficiencies and document corrective and preventative actions. Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements. Required skills

Bachelors of Engineering (preferred)
Experience
Quality experience in the commercial nuclear industry (NRC 10CFR50 Appendix B, and ASME NQA-1). (preferred)
