Summer High School / Middle School Instructors (Various Subjects) Georgetown University: Main Campus: School of Continuing Studies Location: Washington, DC Open Date: Dec 04, 2024 Deadline: Jun 02, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The School of Continuing Studies at Georgetown University is seeking instructors for the sections of the Junior and Summer Discovery courses listed below. All course descriptions may be found here. *These are non-credit courses for high/middle school students. This role is unique and different from a traditional graduate assistant role. Length: 2 Week Program Pay: $1,125 per section taught Junior and Summer Discovery Courses:
Each summer, Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies hosts Junior Discovery for Middle School students and Summer Discovery for High School students, offering motivated middle school and high school students the opportunity to learn more about a subject area of their interest. A course syllabus with a course description, learning objectives, assignments, and assessments are also required for review by the School of Continuing Studies. Class sizes average between 8-20 students. Additional Information: All Instructors must attend a training session and successfully complete a background check prior to the start of the Program.
