The Berkeley Lab's Engineering Division is hiring a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Designer to support the development of a unified Autodesk Revit BIM system. This role involves consolidating as-built models from both BIM and parametric design spaces into a shared system. The BIM Designer will apply engineering knowledge to design and coordinate experimental apparatus, systems, and facilities, analyze equipment, conduct tests, and select components based on specifications and reliability. This position supports the ALS accelerator system design and maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other systems, and will create system drawings and schematics from existing drawings, 3D models, and field conditions. Salary: BMI Designer: This position is expected to pay a targeted range of $93,000.00 to $114,000.00 annually and has a full salary range of $82,728.00 to $139,644.00 annually. The final salary is dependent upon the candidate's skills, knowledge, and abilities, including education, certifications, and years of experience. Senior BMI Designer: This position is expected to pay a targeted range of $111,000.00 to $136,000.00 annually and has a full salary range of $99,000.00 to $167,100.00 annually. The final salary is dependent upon the candidate's skills, knowledge, and abilities, including education, certifications, and years of experience. Notes:
