Job Description: As a Warehouse Associate at Anning Johnson Company, you will play an essential role in supporting our construction team. Responsibilities include maintaining the warehouse, transporting materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites, and ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of materials from trucks. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions precisely, and adhere to safety protocols is key to success in this position.

Responsibilities:



  • Provide essential support to the construction team; ensure the warehouse is stocked and assist in transporting materials
  • Manage warehouse, transport materials, tools, and equipment to/from job sites
  • Responsible for loading and unloading materials from trucks
  • Assist in setting up and demobilizing job sites
  • Track all equipment, scanning each item into our proprietary app to maintain an up-to-date inventory/location record.
  • Regularly inspect equipment to ensure it functions properly, and promptly arrange for repair or maintenance as needed
  • Engage in general maintenance and cleaning of warehouse
  • Strictly follow safety protocols and procedures
  • Act according to instructions from supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must pass drug screening
  • Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate forklift equipment. Forklift certification preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction with precision
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Familiar with basic construction safety protocols
  • Ability to perform computer tasks, such as data entry, email communication, and utilizing spreadsheets. Familiarity with basic office software like Microsoft Office
