About Our Team:

The Nuclear Deterrence and Global Security Partnerships Department at Sandia National Lab provides embedded business development professionals with a passion for national security, enthusiasm for science and engineering, and the ability to navigate complex organizational cultures. The embedded business development teams have demonstrated significant impact to our client for nearly two decades.

What your Job will Be like:

Are you passionate about your work and dream of driving business development and technology strategies in a state-of-the-art science and technology environment? You could be the Business Development and Partnerships Professional we are looking for to support our client's global and national security initiatives. Our department provides integrated business development and partnerships experts that are embedded directly with mission and technology teams to realize program development, strategy and partnering objectives.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Execute stakeholder and partnership engagement strategies U.S. Department of Defense, National Nuclear Security Administration and others.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives for national security programs and technologies.
  • Develop and translate technology speak into the "So What" for technology applications.
  • Discover and analyze market factors and national security requirements and trends.
  • Lead technology transfer initiatives to deploy national security systems.

Qualifications we Require:

  • You will have a bachelor's degree plus 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Your experience will include business development concepts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Q clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Successful drug screening.

Qualifications we Desire:

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience with customer retention related to federal government agencies.
  • Existing DOE Q or Top-Secret clearance.

Location/Work Arrangement:

  • This position a fully onsite position at Sandia National Lab in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

BGS offers a competitive total compensation package to eligible employees. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation, 401K, Long and Short-Term Disability.

Starting compensation for this role typically salary ranges between $115,000 and $125,000 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
