Job Description |
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Director for Grants. This is accomplished by managing, maintaining and adhering to budgets, handling reporting, communicating with grantors and grantees, working with project directors and principal investigators, maintaining various reporting, updating and maintaining records, and assisting with the Grants for Innovation Program.
Other duties include serving as an alternate grant lead in the absence of the Director for Grants
Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities |
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Ability to research and identify grant opportunities.
- Strong reading, comprehension, and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with Project Directors/Investigators and grantors
- Strong record-keeping and documentation management skills.
- Experience in preparing and submitting reports, forms, and grant documentation

Previous federal grant compliance experience preferred. |
